Frame the Star, is India’s very first automotive photography and videography competition, powered by Better Photography and Overdrive magazine.
The second edition of competition began with 22 photographers facing off in Mumbai and Delhi to get the best images of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and CLA. Facing unpredictable weather, traffic, and a gritty urbanscape, the 22 contestants gave it everything they had!
After a panel comprising Swapan Parekh, Amit Ashar, Prashant Godbole, Shantanu Sheorey and Overdrive Editor in Chief, Bertrand D’souza judged the photographs, three photographers emerged as the finalists. The finale in Pune saw them battle it out for two days to produce the most creative photography, with a two stunning cars as their subjects.
Friday, 7th October, Better Photography, Mercedes-Benz and Overdrive hosted the awards ceremony where Anindito Mukherjee (One of the three finalists) was declared as the winner, who in turn will get to keep the car for a period of one year and hence where i get to keep Mere Dad ki Maruti till the period it lasts (No costs attached)
